You can shop online at Amalfi from the comfort of your home and get your favourites delivered right to your doorstep.

Who prices the items?

  • We have a great team of people who sort, hang and price items each and every day. Individually, they look at those items each day and price them before they hit our sales website.

Do you have a rewards program?

  • We expect to be announcing a rewards program in 2024. Stay tuned!

What types of items do you sell?

  • Currently we sell all kinds of Clothing, Footwear, accessories and essentials. Please click here to see an extensive list of items we offer.

How do I know the items you sell are safe?

  • We make every effort to ensure everything we sell is good quality and in working order. However, even we may miss something, so when in doubt, connect with us to ask questions.

Have the clothes been washed?

  • The items come to us from donations. So, we make a point to segregate the clean ones, disinfect them and then put on sale. However, we request you to water- wash them once purchased.

Do you sanitize your merchandise?

  • Yes, the first step is to wash and steam iron them. We also refresh our merchandise by spraying it with a non-allergenic industrial strength deodorizer and disinfect or sanitize them before packing.

  • As a precautionary measure, customers may want to wash or sanitize items before putting them to use.

Can you change the price if I think it is too high?

  • We know price is an important factor when it comes to purchasing and we strive to provide the lowest prices possible, while ensuring Amalfi is able to give generously to the local charity it directly supports. If you ever have a question about a price, please connect with us.

How does the Return policy work?

  • We DO NOT accept Returns.

  • WHY?

  • The cost of free returns: Amalfi loses a third of their revenue to returns and thus donations to the charity organizations decreases.

  • Environmental Costs: As returns are not affordable to masses and cause losses to the business they are often end up in landfill resulting in carbon emissions. The returns culture and consumer behaviour of ‘buying more to return’ will have a significant and unnecessary carbon footprint.

  • Each returned package, regardless of which carrier picks it up leaves a trail of emissions from the various trains, planes, and giant trucks that carry it back to the seller. That pollution contributes to climate change and worsens air quality.

  • The amount of single-use packaging is then doubled if the customer exchanges an item.

  • Looking at the above pointers, if we allow free returns, the whole idea behind thrift shopping doesn’t make any sense.

It’s important we all work together to limit our environmental impact as much as possible. This means thinking about how our actions affect the world. You may just be one person but it’s the cumulative effect that matters. Get educated and be the change!

How does Cancellation policy work?

  • Once the shipment has been dispatched, we DO NOT accept cancellations.

  • The shipment will attempt delivery TWICE – That’s a fair deal! Should you refuse to accept delivery, remain unavailable/ unreachable during all two attempts or cancel the shipment with us, we will consider you to be a DEFAULTER.

  • A DEFAULTER cannot shop with us on the “cash on delivery” option in the future. Incase you prepaid on your cancelled order, we will refund 50% of the shipment value to you excluding delivery charges.

What charities do you support?

We proudly have partnered with local charity NGO's for different causes.

 

How does Amalfi get its merchandise?

  • Amalfi collects donated items from our stand alone donation drives, Community Donation scheduled home pickup service which is is currently halted during the pandemic.

  • We also get our merchandise from sustainable sources like extra stocks, factory rejects, thrift shops, flea markets and customs stock.

How much money do the nonprofit organizations actually make from Amalfi?

  • Due to supply and demand cycles of retail business, the income to the non-profit organizations varies by month per individual market. Our goal is to donate Rs.10000/- annually within next 2 years.

Does Amalfi get a tax break for buying all of its merchandise from sourcing suppliers who benefit non-profit organizations?

  • No. Amalfi is a for-profit company that supports non-profit charities and pays labor, rent, cost of goods and other standard business expenses.
